LDO Group has been involved in a collaborative exercise with the Department of Trade and Investment (DTI) – Assistance Unit, conducting a Safety Culture Program at Chain Valley Colliery. The program details specific performance measurements by using the benchmarking process to determine the safety culture at the mine utilising workforce surveys and questionnaires to accurately capture the safety culture footprint. LDO, along with Chain Valley Colliery are the first participants in the program. The program’s aim is to identify good safety culture and replicate that culture as ‘the way things are done around here’.
